Lazy Daisy's cafe
Croque a la Daisy
A playful twist on the classic Croque Madame, Daisy’s version starts with a homemade rosemary and cheddar biscuit, stacked with Black Forest ham and smothered in house-made white sausage gravy. Topped with a blanket of melted Parmesan and Gruyère, the crowning glory is a naturally raised Burnbrae sunny-up egg. Magnifique!
Opened in 2011, Lazy Daisy's is an award-winning café known for its locally made, farm-fresh, and homemade food. Owner Dawn Chapman, who grew up on a family farm in Midhurst, Ontario, is dedicated to bringing the warm, welcoming spirit of the farm to the city. Since then, Lazy Daisy’s has been recognized as one of the top brunch spots and home to the best breakfast sandwich in Toronto by Toronto Life, The Toronto Star, BlogTO, NOW Magazine, Eater Magazine, and USA Today, among others. We’ve also been featured on Breakfast Television and HGTV.
Our signature breakfast sandwiches, made with homemade buttermilk biscuits, along with our juicy fried chicken sammies, smashburgers, and pancakes, have made Lazy Daisy's a must-visit destination for food lovers across the province!
